1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Grange AI ("Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of a nonprofit organization or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, in which case "you" refers to both you individually and that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Accounts
- Registration: You must create an account to use most features of Grange AI. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to keep this information current.
- Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at executivegrangeai@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- One account per organization: Each account is intended for a single nonprofit organization. Team members within an organization may share an account; sharing accounts across unaffiliated organizations is not permitted.
- Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
3. Permitted Use
Grange AI is a grant-writing and grant-discovery tool for nonprofit organizations. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes related to your organization's mission and grant-seeking activities.
You may not use the Service to:
- Fabricate organizational credentials, financial data, or program outcomes in grant applications.
- Submit fraudulent grant applications or misrepresent your organization to funders.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to the Service without our written consent.
- Use automated scraping, bots, or scripts to extract grant data from the Service for use in competing products.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or related systems.
- Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action, including account suspension or termination, for violations of this section.
4. AI-Generated Content
Grange AI uses large language models and AI systems to assist with grant discovery and proposal drafting. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Human review is required: AI-generated proposals, summaries, and recommendations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it to any funder.
- Not professional advice: Grange AI does not provide legal, financial, accounting, or compliance advice. Content generated by the Service is for informational and drafting assistance purposes only.
- Grant outcomes: Grange AI makes no representations or warranties that using the Service will result in successful grant applications or funding awards. Grant decisions are made solely by funders.
- Your content ownership: You retain full ownership of all grant content you create, upload, or generate through the Service. We do not claim any ownership rights in your content.
- Model training: We will not use your specific grant content, organizational data, or uploaded documents to train or fine-tune AI models without your explicit written consent.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
- Paid plans: Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing is displayed at checkout and may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of price changes at least 30 days in advance.
- Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
- Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been billed in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge.
- Taxes: Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying any taxes, levies, or duties imposed by applicable law.
- Free trials: Where offered, free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.

6. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain all ownership rights in any content you upload, create, or generate through the Service, including organization profiles, uploaded documents, grant drafts, and final proposals. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
Our platform: Grange AI, including its software, AI models, algorithms, databases, design, trademarks, logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond what is expressly stated herein.
Feedback: If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation to you.
7. Confidentiality
We treat your organization's grant content, financial data, mission documents, and strategic information as confidential. We will not disclose your confidential information to third parties except as set out in our Privacy Policy or as required by law. Our employees and contractors who have access to customer data are bound by confidentiality obligations.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee that the grant opportunities surfaced by the Service are accurate, complete, or current. Grant databases change frequently and information may be delayed. Always verify grant details directly with funders.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GRANGE AI BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Termination
- By you: You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Closure takes effect immediately for free accounts, and at the end of the billing period for paid accounts.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless doing so would cause harm or is prohibited.
- Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Your data will be retained for 30 days following termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted except as required by applicable law.
- Survival: Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, disclaimers, and governing law survive termination of these Terms.
11. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be submitted to informal negotiation by contacting us at executivegrangeai@gmail.com. If informal resolution fails after 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property claims.
YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN CLASS-ACTION LAWSUITS TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
12. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Grange AI and supersede all prior agreements.
- Modifications: We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
